With the weather looking like it’s going to perk up again, what better accompaniment to an afternoon or evening in the garden than a bottle of Yali Wild Swan Sauvignon Blanc 2019?
Sustainable Wine
Yali Wine, hails from Chile and is one of the very few wholly sustainable brands in the country. Plus, this is the first winery to obtain the ‘Certified Sustainable Wine of Chile’ accreditation for 100% of its vineyards. The vineyard’s viticulturalist, Sergio Hormazabal and winemaker, Angel Marchant utilise biological corridors and biodiversity areas to produce beautiful wines in harmony with the local landscape.
The Yali winery has also has a conscientious zero waste policy in its use of water through to organic fertiliser. As well as the use of solar panels at its wineries, Yali has switched the majority of its bottles to a lightweight version, in order to make recycling easier and so reduce its carbon footprint.
This is a wine to enjoy year-round while knowing that you’re doing your bit for the environment. The range also features a Yali Wild Swan Merlot.
The Yali Wild Swan brand is named after the Yali Wetlands, a Chilean National Forest Corporation protected ecological reserve and the wild swans that live there.
